There was a time when job roles were simple. There were people whose job it was to type letters, create presentations and to collect, organise and analyse data.  Today, staff are expected to carry out these roles for themselves.  ICT skills are not a luxury, they are a necessity.

 

InformComm specialise in providing ICT training courses for small to medium-sized groups that are designed to provide your staff with the skills, understanding and confidence in the range of technologies and software applications they need to grow your business.  Training is normally delivered on the client’s premises but can be provided externally if required.

 

InformComm training courses are particularly suitable for small to medium sized businesses and charities, and can be tailored to the needs of your organisation.  Prior to delivery, an InformComm training consultant can work with you to define tasks and exercises that will not only train your staff but also deliver immediate rewards.  Training can be delivered in a formal classroom setting, training workshops or even one-to-one.

An InformComm consultant can also spend time on site after the formal training has been carried out, providing immediate support to newly trained staff.

 

SKILLS AUDIT

Are you aware of the skills your staff may already possess and where your skills shortfalls may be?  A skills audit can help identify these.  It can also help identify potential mentors amongst your staff who can provide assistance to their colleagues.

You may already have training staff or it may not be feasible to employ InformComm to provide training to all your staff.  In this case, InformComm can help by providing cascade training where we will train one or more of your staff to provide the training course.  In addition, we can provide the necessary support materials and backup.
